- BFA– Bachelor of Fine Arts or BFA is a 3-year professional course. This course involves the study of all forms of visual arts. Some of the specialized areas of this program include Sculpting, Painting, Dance, Music, Photography etc. If you have a creative side to yourself and want to develop your skills in that, this course is perfect for you. Skills and creativity are a must to thrive and succeed in this field. After completing this course, you can get jobs in the schools, fine arts institutes or work as a freelancer.
- Mass Communication and Journalism – This is a highly promising and ‘in demand’ program. The media sector has witnessed immense growth in the last few years; both traditional media like TV and print as well as online media have huge scope for talented and passionate professionals. There are 3 different courses available – Degree which is a 3 year course and Diploma and Certificate courses ranging between 1 to 2 years. If you feel compelled by social activism or journalism, you will definitely establish yourself in this sector. Having communication skills is a complementary benefit for pursuing this course. After successful completion of this course, you can find jobs with the media houses. An entire gamut of vacancies has been created with the emerging online brands of media.
- Event Management– After completing one’s 12th boards successfully, one can easily pursue a Degree course in Event management for a duration of 3 years or opt for a diploma or certificate course in this subject. One can also go for an MBA in Event Management. This field is dynamic and if you have managerial skills and strong connections and enjoy multi-tasking, this course is perfectly suited for you. Events are being organized at all times and their genre also varies – from sports to cultural to social, corporate and so on. The demand for organizing such events is so high, that there are event companies for such programs and as such, there is no dearth of jobs for the deserving ones.
